The volume of fruit transported on the China-Laos railway has increased significantly
Since the beginning of this year, China-Laos railway has transported more than 100,000 tons of fruit, an increase of 119.85% year-on-year.
In recent years, Southeast Asian tropical fruits such as mangosteen, longan and durian have been popular among Chinese fruit markets and consumers. In December 2022, the designated supervision site for imported fruits at China's Mohan Railway Port was completed and put into use, and the China-Laos Railway officially has the rail transport capacity for imported fruits.
