The second Expo attracted more than 1,600 foreign brands from France as the guest of honor

  

The second China International Consumer Goods Fair (CIIF) and Global Consumer Forum kicked off in Haikou, Hainan province on Wednesday. The international exhibition area of the Expo is 80,000 square meters, accounting for 80% of the exhibition area. More than 1,000 overseas enterprises have brought more than 1,600 brands to the Expo. Exhibitors attending the Expo said that through the platform of the Expo, more Chinese and foreign enterprises will share the opportunities in the Chinese market and provide new growth drivers for the global economic recovery.

More than 600 new products from around the world will debut

The Expo has specially issued green exhibition guidelines to fully practice the concept of green and low-carbon in operation, construction, transportation and catering, strive to build a benchmark for environmental protection and energy saving exhibitions, and highlight the fulfillment of social responsibilities.

In terms of forum agenda setting, as one of the highlights of the Expo, the second Sustainable Consumption Summit Forum will be themed as "Sustainable consumption drives low-carbon Future", aiming to echo the national "double carbon" goal, and deeply discuss and share the sustainable consumption and production practices of leading enterprises.

In addition, the expo will jointly relevant international agencies and brand, around to protect tropical forests, the mangrove forests, hainan gibbon to hold a series of aspects such as public welfare activity, initiative more brands to join common action to protect the earth's environment, lead to more consumers' green public welfare and environmental protection consciousness, create beautiful future of the harmonious development of man and nature.

During the exhibition, a series of supporting activities with rich content and various forms will be held. On the basis of highlighting the first show of new products, new activities such as global consumer forum and international fashion show will be held.

The Expo and the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port are important measures for China to comprehensively deepen reform, advance opening-up at a higher level, achieve high-quality economic development and promote global economic and trade cooperation.
