Vietnamese car maker VinFast has announced deals with five US dealers
VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, said in a statement on January 2 that it has signed agreements with five dealerships in North Carolina, New York, Texas and Kansas, which is expected to expand the company's dealer network to 125 points of sale across the United States.
According to the Vietnam News Agency, VinFast's first distributors included Leith VinFast in North Carolina, Smith Haven VinFast in New York, Principle VinFast Grapevine in Texas, and Hiley in Fort Worth VinFast and VinFast Wichita, Kansas. The five dealers will initially sell the VF 8 models and will begin selling the VF6, VF7 and VF9 models when they become available in the U.S. market.
All customers who buy or lease VinFast electric vehicles receive a 10-year or 200,000 km warranty policy and a 10-year battery warranty policy.
