The tripartite meeting was successfully held

  

On the morning of March 18, 2024, the China-Asean Center, the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization, the Education Department of Guizhou Province, and the Secretariat of the China-Asean Education Exchange Week held the ninth tripartite meeting. Secretary General of China-Asean Center Shi Zhongjun, Secretary General of Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Habiba, Director of Guizhou Department of Education and Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of China-Asean Education Exchange Week Zou Lianke led the three delegations to attend the meeting respectively.

During the meeting, all parties expressed appreciation for the resumption of the tripartite meeting mechanism after the epidemic. The three sides reached consensus on the text of the renewal of the agreement, agreed on the follow-up cooperation areas and promotion process, and held in-depth discussions on the Education Exchange Week in 2024 in the context of the China-Asean Year of People-To-People Exchange.

The China-Asean Center and Southeast Asian Ministers of Education held a bilateral meeting to discuss prospects for cooperation in youth, digital capacity building, vocational education and scientific research, and jointly promote regional cooperation in education, science and culture.

On the same day, the China-Asean Center organized Southeast Asian Education Ministers Organization and ASEAN officials from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam to visit Beijing No. 2 High School Yizhuang School and Guangzhou Vision Source Electronic Technology Co., LTD. During the visit, the delegation was deeply impressed by China's digital education technology products and their wide application in the actual process of running schools.
