JAKARTA, April 24 (China News Service) -- The third China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (CISPE) Indonesia promotion event was held in Jakarta on April 24. Nearly 100 representatives from the business and political circles, financial institutions, related enterprises and media of China and Indonesia attended the event.
Li Hongwei, the Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, attended and delivered a speech. He highly praised CISPE as the world's first national-level exhibition and international public product with a focus on supply chains, and its positive contribution to maintaining the stability and smoothness of global industrial and supply chains. Li Hongwei emphasized that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia, and the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has continued to deepen. He pointed out that currently, the United States is implementing "reciprocal tariffs" against many countries, and the clouds of tariff wars and trade wars are looming, seriously impacting the stability of global industrial and supply chains. Against this backdrop, all countries need to firmly safeguard the multilateral trading system, adhere to the correct direction of trade and investment facilitation, respect market rules, deepen industrial and supply chain cooperation, and promote the construction of an open world economy.

He said that the current world economy is undergoing profound changes and facing many uncertainties. The holding of CISPE gathers global forces, focuses on supply chain coordination and innovation, and conveys a clear signal that "win-win cooperation is the only way out". The Indonesian Chinese Chamber of Commerce will continue to play a bridging role and promote practical cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.
