Promote the transformation of the mining industry from "selling resources" to "manufacturing materials", and from "extensive development" to "green and intelligent manufacturing". Xu Dachun said that China-Asean mining cooperation has a long history. In recent years, they have jointly carried out geological surveys, mineral exploration, mining investment and mineral product development, promoting high-quality economic and social development in the region. Standing at a new starting point, China is willing to work with ASEAN countries to continue to build and make good use of the platform of the China (Guangxi) - ASEAN Mining Cooperation Conference. We will adhere to the principles of openness and sharing, innovation-driven development, green and low-carbon development, and joint construction and sharing. We will intensify cooperation in scientific and technological innovation, develop new productive forces in the mining industry, jointly plan and implement regional geoscience major science programs, and promote regional geoscience development. The foreign guests attending the meeting said in their speeches that the mining industry, as the core engine of ASEAN's economic growth, is increasingly prominent in the global mineral supply chain. China is ASEAN's largest trading partner in mineral products, possessing advanced technologies and a mature industrial chain system. It is fully confident in the prospects of mining cooperation between ASEAN and China. It is hoped that through the important platform of the China (Guangxi) - ASEAN Mining Cooperation Conference, while safeguarding environmental integrity, economic value can be released, cooperation in trade and investment, capacity building and sustainable development can be continuously deepened, and the digital transformation and artificial intelligence revolution of the mining industry can be promoted. This will ensure that the dividends of mineral resources benefit people of all countries for a long time and jointly maintain regional peace, stability and prosperity.
At the opening ceremony, Wang Shilei, the general manager of China Aluminium Corporation Limited, Cheng Liwei, the president of China Mining Association, Niu Jianhua, the Party Secretary of China Metallurgical Geological Bureau, Liu Shengyou, the Chairman of Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Port Group, and Dato 'Sri Abhiji Anuya, the president of Malaysia Mining Chamber of Commerce, delivered keynote speeches in turn.

The discussions and exchanges mainly focused on topics such as the innovative development of AI+ natural resources, the development and application services of mining technology, satellite remote sensing and navigation, and the training of international mining talents.
